BC Lions celebrate the new roof with a win

The BC Lions gave fans what they wanted. A 33-24 victory of the Edmonton Eskimos to celebrate the newly renovated BC Place Stadium. With 50,213 fans in attendance the win was well attended. Enjoy!

A fan awaits the start of the game and the opening of the new roof at BC Place. The stadium upgrade cost was 500+ millions dollars.

Lions # 35 Tim Brown scrambles for the ball and tries for the touch down. 

QB Travis Lulay attempts to squeeze the ball into the endzone for a touchdown, unsuccessfully before going out of bounds. The Lions scored a TD on the next play however.

Cloverdale Mall Demolition

From the Archives: In February of 2011 the Cloverdale Mall demolition began. Built in 1973 the mall was torn down to make way for a development called Cloverdale West Village.
